    Do I Have to Sin?

Some would say yes, some would say no. What does the Bible teach? Come tonight at 8:00 (or 7:30, if you want to jam with the guitar pickers) to find out. ALSO, DONT FORGET  that next Monday is our last time to meet for the semester. We’re having a cookout at Archie and Barbara Andersons. It starts at 6:30, but come on as soon as you can if you can’t be there the kick-off. Charlie

    Party Time!!

We’re on for tonight, but I wanted to let you know what we’re doing 2 weeks from now. On April 21st the Andersons are hosting a cookout at their home. It will start at 6:30, but come as soon as you can if that time doesn’t work for you. They live very close to the church (a couple of miles south of here), and we’ll provide directions soon. I hope to see you tonight. Charlie

    On the Road Again

Tomorrow (Monday) I am driving to Laurel, MS for the funeral of my aunt, Margaret Lindsey. She was a strong and godly woman who left a legacy (much like Christi Senter sang about in church this morning) to her family and community. I plan to be back in time for our 7:30 jam and 8:00 Bible study. If I can’t be back, I’ll be missing you all. But please pray that my trip would be safe and that the Lord would be magnified through all that happens at her funeral. Charlie

    Guitar pickers, UNITE!

If you play the guitar there are several of us who are meeting about 7:30 to jam. If you have a clue what to do with 4, 6, or 12 strings, we would welcome your presence. Then, 8:00-ish we’ll disintegrate and miraculous re-form in the Cafe Faith HQ for some in-depth Romans Bible study. See you tonight! Charlie & friends

    Step on the brake, Jake…

DON’T hop in your preferred mode of transportation (…bus, Gus, or whatever)  and head down to 1804 S. Montgomery just yet. We’re reconvening in TWO WEEKS. That’s Monday, January 28th at 8 p.m. …Some of you know that my wife, Sue, passed away December 9th. Thank you for your cards, calls and encouraging remarks. You are all greatly appreciated. Charlie

That doesn’t even make sense if you’re a Monkees fan. But tonight is the last night for Cafe Faith until 2008. Come on out for further excursions into Romans. We will also have a special time of prayer as you begin exams. 8:00 p.m.
